Jill returned to London and continued to live with Ali and also Sue K in Chepstow Villas. She returned to Saintseal which then became Eros travel where she remained until 1975. In 1973 she became good friends with Jeannie and they lived with Ali in Napier Court. 

The infamous 'tarts and parsons' party was where she met Gerry - the love of her life.

Her flatmate and good friend Ali fondly recalls them choosing a ring together at Richard Ogden's and hoping that Gerry would like it - he did!
