Our friendship with Jill and Gerry goes back some 60 years in Bournemouth, London and even Bledington and Kingham for their marvellous wedding so many years ago. Fortunately we managed to get together last year for a reunion lunch at the Wolseley with two other friends from the Bournemouth days and this will remain a treasured memory. Gerry was one of my best pals when I was growing up in Bournemouth but unfortunately Judy and I didn't get to know Jill until a few years ago. We were also very much looking forward to seeing her and Gerry again this summer but sadly we will have to retain just a memory of a lovely lady; wife and Mother.
Hoping that our gift helps finding a cure for all cancers... great advances have been made but we still have a long way to go..
