Dedicated to the memory of Jill
This site is a tribute to Jill, who was born in Shrewsbury on 17th May 1946.
Jill was a much-loved Wife, Mother, Sister, Granny and friend to many who died after a short battle with cancer on the 9th April 2021. She is also dearly missed by her beloved Coco.

.Jill was a good listener as well as an interesting contributer. She always tended her hair so that she looked young and carefree. As our Vicar said " Jill, like her mother, has been a gracious lady".
We will miss our happy times together.

I thought Jill was a very friendly chatty lovely lady I enjoyed seeing her at the groups and she will be sadly missed

Thank you for sharing Jill’s funeral on YouTube, it was beautiful and I loved hearing all of the wonderful tributes from her lovely family.
I met Jill and Gerry not long after they welcomed Coco into their family. I helped do some training with them, as LBD was ruling the roost, those poodle genes were strong! I suggested that they didn’t let Coco sit up on their sitting room chairs (not even with a blanket). I’m not sure Gerry ever agreed with that suggestion 😉 We looked after Coco while Jill and Gerry travelled to far flung places and of course to visit family in the Middle East. Coco always seemed to love visiting us, however her excitement at being collected when they returned home was a beautiful sight to see. Sadly we could not look after Coco after downsizing, but my dear friend Martina took over Coco caring duties and we made happy memories walking all of our doodles together. The last time I saw Jill and Gerry was at our Wednesday night choir, just before my husband and I left to live in Northern Ireland in November 2019. Sending my love and thoughts to all of Jill’s family and friends.
